Itinerary
Set off in the early morning for the enchanting Kaghan Valley. Continuing our journey, we proceed to Shogran, where we make a brief transfer to local jeeps for the final stretch of the trip. Spend the night at the hotel.
This morning, embark on a journey in local jeeps to the serene Siri Lake, then proceed to the picturesque Paya Meadows. Once there, explore the numerous trails or opt for a hike up Makra Peak (3,885m). The ascent to the top of Makra Peak from Paya takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and is relatively moderate, as the peak rises only around 670m above Paya. After the adventure, return to Shogran for an overnight stay.
Today's itinerary involves a lengthy drive, beginning with a journey to Gittidas. From there, ascend via an uphill track to the renowned Babusar Pass (4173m), where you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views. Descend from the pass to Chilas along the iconic Karakoram Highway. Upon reaching Chilas, take the opportunity to explore the world-famous petroglyphs, ancient rock carvings left behind by Buddhist monks on their journey to China. Spend the night at the hotel.
Following breakfast, embark on a one-hour trek to reach Beyal camp, the base camp of Fairy Meadows. Here, you'll find a simple lodge where you can pause for lunch before returning to Fairy Meadows for an overnight stay at the lodge or tented camp.

Depart from Besham and head towards Thakot, where you'll make a stop to admire the FWO monument. Then, continue your journey by joining the Hazara Motorway near Mansehra, ultimately reaching Islamabad, which serves as your drop-off point.
